🌿 recommendations: Saturnian and Bagni San Filippo hot springs! You also have to visit a winery in the region while visiting (there are SO many to choose from)

📍Lake Garda
🌿recommendations: personally my favorite place here is Limone sul Garda - it is SO picturesque! A hike along strada del ponale is also a must for dramatic cliff views and stunning lake views

📍Matera
🌿recommendations: definitely stay overnight here! I would also recommend staying in a grotto in the sassi as accommodation - such a unique experience!

📍Procida
🌿 recommendation: definitely less visited than capri and ischia but come first thing in the morning by ferry! also the black sand beach here is amazing!

📍Lake Como
🌿 recommendations: there are so many villas to visit here - my top three are: villa cipressi, villa monastero, and villa del balbianello! also come for a minimum of 2 nights

📍Portofino
🌿 recommendations: stay for 2 nights and explore the beautiful baia cannone! In addition, consider hiking to San Fruttuoso abbey and camogli!

📍Venice

and while Copenhagen has become a very popular travel destination in the last few years, most visitors don’t venture out beyond the capital city 🥺

how to get here ✨
🚗 by car: drive from london or any other starting location and head to the durdle door car park - keep in mind that it gets busy during the day so try to arrive early to secure a parking spot🙈

🚌 by public transportation: take the train from london waterloo to wool station (2 hours and 30 minutes journey)

get off at wool and take the X54 Jurassic Coaster or bus number 31 to durdle door which will take you 30 minutes (the X54 bus operates on weekdays only and bus 31 operates on weekends only)🏝️

while at durdle door make sure to explore the whole area - below are a few must see spots along the coast 💫

while the south is known for its alpine views, the north is full of some of the most beautiful villages in all of germany 💌

while Franconia is technically situated within Bavaria, the culture between these two regions vary quite a lot 💭

while here I recommend making nürnberg your base as it’s centrally located and has lots of places to explore in between villages 🏰

in addition, while having a car here can be nice as it offers more flexibility, all of these spots are well connected and easy to get to with public transportation! 🍃

everything you need to know about visiting ✨

⌛️opening times: keukenhof is open seasonally between March 20 through May 11 and the opening hours are 8:00 am to 7:30 pm

🚍how to get here: the park offers shuttle services to several big cities in the area including Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Leiden, and Haarlem meaning that if you buy a combi-ticket you don’t have to worry about transportation

💸what does it cost:
19.5€ for adults online
23€ for adults at the ticket office
9€ for children between 4-17
free for children under 3
36.5€ for a combi ticket with a shuttle back and forth

🌞when to arrive: as you can probably imagine it is HIGHLY recommended to arrive as early as possible as it’s busy already by 10 am

📸where to go first: my two favorite spots in the park are written below so you can go there first before it gets busy

📍keukenhofmolen (the windmill)
📍the little lake at the bottom left of the park (52.2674091, 4.5474774)

🍟should you bring food: the food halls here are not highly rated but the park also has food trucks which offer delicious food (including vegan options🌱)

💐exploring lisse: make sure to explore the lisse area outside of keukenhof during your visit as there are lots of traditional tulip fields in the area

🚲renting a bike: you can rent a bike at the rent-a-bike booth outside the entrance to keukenhof

📍obersee, bavaria

ps. remember to stay in the tracks and leave no trace behind 🌿

to find the boat house specifically on google maps you need to write: obersee “berühmtes bootshaus”🙈

getting to obersee is super easy but requires that you take the boat across Königsee all the way to the end station called Salet🥹

a return trip costs 27 euros per adult and it will take around 55 minutes to arrive at Salet with the boat. With the return ticket you can also do a stop in St. Bartolomä ✨

to reach this boat house you simply keep walking along the path from the boat stop for about 10 minutes and it provides you with the best view over the obersee lake 😇

make sure to hike around the lake for the best views, you can find a hut serving food and drinks on the other side, go swimming, and check out the röthbackfall (waterfall) 😻

important things to know:
the first boat departs at 8 am (varies in season so check their website) and after that the times are either every 20 minutes or depending on the demand and the last boat going back is usually at around 17:30 (you do not want to miss it)🙈

arrive EARLY! try to get on the first boat if possible, we were on the second one which departed just 5 minutes after the first🤭

you can buy tickets by the boat dock, but if you prefer you can also book them online (online is non-refundable so I recommend getting it on the spot since the weather can be unpredictable)🙃

a lot of people get off at St. Bartolomä so it’s much better to continue to Salet (the stop for obersee) first before all of the others arrive😇

while the south is known for its alpine views, the north is full of some of the most beautiful villages in all of germany 💌

while Franconia is technically situated within Bavaria, the culture between these two regions vary quite a lot 💭

while here I recommend making nürnberg your base as it’s centrally located and has lots of places to explore in between villages 🏰

in addition, while having a car here can be nice as it offers more flexibility, all of these spots are well connected and easy to get to with public transportation! 🍃

this one week itinerary is going to be based around Rovaniemi meaning you don’t need to rent a car during your trip! 🚗

accommodation in Lapland is expensive but I recommend staying at @goldencirclesuites as it’s very affordable! ✨

my favorite part about staying here were the insanely comfy beds, it’s central location, and the fact that the rooms come with a private sauna! 🧖‍♀️

all activities were organized by @accesslapland and they truly made our week unforgettable - I can highly recommend booking your Lapland adventures with them! 🥺

they even provided us with extra layers of clothes ensuring we were comfy and warm even in -25 celcius 🥶

everything you need to know about visiting ✨

⌛️opening times: keukenhof is open seasonally between March 20 through May 11 and the opening hours are 8:00 am to 7:30 pm

🚍how to get here: the park offers shuttle services to several big cities in the area including Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Leiden, and Haarlem meaning that if you buy a combi-ticket you don’t have to worry about transportation

💸what does it cost:
19.5€ for adults online
23€ for adults at the ticket office
9€ for children between 4-17
free for children under 3
36.5€ for a combi ticket with a shuttle back and forth

🌞when to arrive: as you can probably imagine it is HIGHLY recommended to arrive as early as possible as it’s busy already by 10 am

📸where to go first: my two favorite spots in the park are written below so you can go there first before it gets busy

📍keukenhofmolen (the windmill)
📍the little lake at the bottom left of the park (52.2674091, 4.5474774)

🍟should you bring food: the food halls here are not highly rated but the park also has food trucks which offer delicious food (including vegan options🌱)

💐exploring lisse: make sure to explore the lisse area outside of keukenhof during your visit as there are lots of traditional tulip fields in the area

🚲renting a bike: you can rent a bike at the rent-a-bike booth outside the entrance to keukenhof

ps. remember to stay in the tracks and leave no trace behind 🌿

to find the boat house specifically on google maps you need to write: obersee “berühmtes bootshaus”🙈

getting to obersee is super easy but requires that you take the boat across Königsee all the way to the end station called Salet🥹

a return trip costs 27 euros per adult and it will take around 55 minutes to arrive at Salet with the boat. With the return ticket you can also do a stop in St. Bartolomä ✨

to reach this boat house you simply keep walking along the path from the boat stop for about 10 minutes and it provides you with the best view over the obersee lake 😇

make sure to hike around the lake for the best views, you can find a hut serving food and drinks on the other side, go swimming, and check out the röthbackfall (waterfall) 😻

important things to know:
the first boat departs at 8 am (varies in season so check their website) and after that the times are either every 20 minutes or depending on the demand and the last boat going back is usually at around 17:30 (you do not want to miss it)🙈

arrive EARLY! try to get on the first boat if possible, we were on the second one which departed just 5 minutes after the first🤭

you can buy tickets by the boat dock, but if you prefer you can also book them online (online is non-refundable so I recommend getting it on the spot since the weather can be unpredictable)🙃

a lot of people get off at St. Bartolomä so it’s much better to continue to Salet (the stop for obersee) first before all of the others arrive😇

is this the most magical skating route or what?!🥺

I honestly think I’m going to be underwhelmed by ice skating rinks after experiencing this magical place 🙈⛸️

located just 20 minutes from rovaniemi, this is an experience everyone must try when visiting Finnish Lapland! 😍

we had so much fun ice skating through this forest track which is about 1,000 meters long and even had snow falling the entire time making it so magical ❄️

entrance to kotatieva is 59€ for adults and includes transportation to and from Rovaniemi city center (or Santa Claus village) 🚌

they have both hockey and figure skates you can borrow while visiting and even have a small ice hockey rink you can play on 🏒

in addition they have snowshoes you can use to explore the forest, a sledding area, and even 2 reindeer you can visit and feed 🦌
